5 ways to have a fundraiser successful and unique

Copyright (c) 2008 AIM Funding

When planning a fundraiser, it is easy to get caught up in things that are not all that much difference in the outcome of the sale. Here are five things that if you want to keep in mind when planning your fundraising will make a difference in the outcome of your school.

Below you will find five things that a school or group can greatly affect how much money arises with their new fundraising:

Step # 1 – Percentage profit is not equal profits.

A company offering 90% of profits from a business for profit of 20% is not necessarily a better deal for a school. Remember schools do not make any percentage in their bank account, but they are allowed to deposit money. Most schools look at percentage of profit that the number one priority when choosing what they will choose for the new next fundraiser. What I say here does not mean profit percentage is not important, but it should not be the first priority and the only school in choosing their next fundraising new and unique. It should be the number one objective of the school of increasing the maximum possible profit with less hassle!

Step # 2 – The product you sell does make a difference (but not as much as you might think) Getting the right product for your campaign news makes a difference, however, it is not the most important factor to have a waiver successful fund. You've probably seen in your own neighborhood, how two schools decide to sell cookie dough and they sell both in the same time and at the same price. But unlike their results (profits) have been HUGE! Then you would have to conclude that this was not the product that makes the difference. So what makes the huge difference? Hint, see Step # 5!

Step # 3 – time of your fundraising earlier in the school year as possible

When you kick off your campaign is one aspect very important to its success. It is a fact that undiputed the first school that is sales brochure into an office or neighborhood has higher sales than which comes last. However, the timing is not the # 1 reason why schools have successful fundraisers. Hint, see Step # 5!

Step # 4 – Choose a dynamic person, at the head of your new fundraiser!

Enthusiasm for a fundraiser begins with the person at the top. The person who organizes the collection of new funding for the tone and level of arousal and affects participation in the sale. Yes, the attitude Sponsor's fundraising and enthusiasm have a very important role in the outcome of the new fundraising.

Step # 5 – Program management (How fundraising is managed) is the number one factor in its success.

Program Management is the most important to have a successful fundraiser. You may know that "How" the school fundraiser is run is essential for success, but the main problem is not many fundraising companies train developers fundraising on the proper management of the program. "

Following several key elements of program management:

A) Setting Goals for School

B) Kick Off memorable

C) maintaining enthusiasm for the duration of the sale

D) Find useful Volunteers

E) Motivating students / Sales

F) motivate teachers and staff to promote the sale.

To get the sales highest on a new fundraising students / sellers must be duly substantiated. You can even go up to provide an incentive for faculty / staff too.

The main reason why we will elementary $ 8,000, while another similar school will make $ 15.500, is the way they did their price / incentives for students and their teachers!

We at AIM have a saying "The students can sell tickets at $ 5 $ 10.00 and do really well if you motivate them pretty good. "The most important part of your fundraising will be to provide incentives that really motivate your students and teachers to participate in your sales as they have never done before! A paltry 15% increase in participation can easily double the fundraising typical school. Participation is not difficult to grow by 15%.
